We loved the porch house! The hammocks, golf cart and kayaks were so much fun. The blackstone griddle was great, and we loved sitting out on the porch. Thanks for the s’mores kit we sat around the fire pit two nights and made s’mores. We didn’t catch any fish but hopefully better luck next time.
We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. It was a very clean house with everything you would need! Reid was very responsive, even helping with an issue when we arrived. The location was peaceful and within walking distance to the lake (you can see it from the porch). If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to just get away from life and the stresses at home. So quiet and peaceful, and the sweetest dog that greets you in the morning and throughout the day. Definitely will find myself back at this place again, hopefully soon.
Reid's place was very nice really close to the lake. We were there for a BASS Tournament. It was very easy to park the truck and boat.
We had a wonderful stay at The Porch House, which offered us the perfect getaway during the opening of black powder season, especially with our hunting land nearby. The elevated back porch quickly became a family favorite; the view was fantastic, and it was the ideal spot to sit and chat in the pleasant weather. The rooms were spacious with enough beds to comfortably fit the whole family, and being able to bring our dogs along made it even more enjoyable.Our host, Reid, was fantastic at communicating, making sure we had everything we needed and answering questions promptly. The house was stocked with so many extras—like coffee machines, a full set of pots, pans, and all the necessary dishes for a family meal. These touches really added to the convenience, as they aren’t things we’d usually pack. We would absolutely recommend The Porch House to anyone looking for a cozy, family-friendly stay with all the comforts of home and more!
Best vacation ive been on and much needed getaway very private and lots of family activities too keep us busy and nice view of the camp fire.
We had a great time at The Porch House. Our family felt comfortable and right at home. Our host was responsive with any questions and even reminded me when I left something at the place before we left town! Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future

This was truly one of my family's most favorite stays. Everything was perfect. The check-in was easy, the house is beautiful, the location was quiet but not totally removed from civilization. Cell reception is iffy, but there is a strong wireless connection. It was chilly in November, but that fire pit with s'mores made it so much fun. We enjoyed a few meals out and also cooking at the house. Plenty of room for people to gather, but also room for the introverts to spend alone time and recover. Walks in the woods or down to the lake are lovely, and the neighbor's friendly (but huge!) dog, Paddy, might join you. Cannot say enough good things about our hosts, they were very helpful and communication was excellent. Looking forward to the next time.
Clean and comfortable with enjoyable amenities like fire supplies and kayaks. The master bed was comfortable and the kitchen was clean and very functional!
Very clean and nice stay. You can tell that this place has been newly renovated, and they have nice appliances. Lots of ways to cook things at this place, and the Blackstone outside was SO fun to have access to. We cooked on it each day! They have SO many kitchen utensils to use and cups, etc. Even an ice cream maker... Seems like they have it all. There are also some random spices and pancake mixes, syrup and honey, and other odds and ends that they have available to their customers. Firepit outside was very nice to have with free firewood, and the deck / porch was such a fun addition. Would be perfect for warmer weather (we were there when it was just a bit too cold to enjoy for long sadly). The two guests room beds are doubles, so pretty small. Just be aware if you and your spouse aren't cuddlers haha. If you have dogs, take note that there is no fenced in yard, and the neighbors a few doors over let their dogs out without a leash during the day. They are friendly and go home when called, but if your dogs don't like other dogs like that, then make sure to keep an eye out. Overall, we were very happy with the stay and it was nice to be able to stay in such a nice home with a great view and activities to do around the house.
We had a fantastic stay at The Porch House! The cabin is in a beautiful setting with a huge porch and great views. It has everything you need for a relaxing weekend…games, outdoor kitchen, fire pit with firewood, Apple play speakers, and more. They even thought of all the little extras to keep on hand in the kitchen and bathrooms in case you forget something (including coffee and creamer!). Everything was extremely clean and towels and bedding were thick and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

The house was great! Nice and clean. The amenities provided were fantastic. There were items provided to make smores. The bathroom had lots of extras provided as well. There was a closet full of games to play. The back porch was amazing. Not only is there a grill provided, but also a Blackstone grill too. I was very excited to be able to use that! The walk to the lake was short and sweet! Wood was also provided for the fire pit. There is an option to rent a golf cart, and we took advantage of that for a day! We toured the area. It was quiet, peaceful and most relaxing. I couldn't be more satisfied with our stay!
The Porch House is a perfect family getaway! My husband, boys, & I, all thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view of the water from the back porch is so nice & although it was pretty cold while we were there, we unfortunately weren't able to use the firepit because of the burn ban 😔 We would all love to come back when the weather is a little better & we are able to enjoy all the amenities. The house is full of usefulI amenities! I love the scenery & the scenic drive. It wasn't too far from everything, but just far enough. We were able to sit on the front porch & watch the deer. Great place to stay!
This place gets all the small things right: plenty of indoor and outdoor games, complementary toiletries, quality wifi (which comes in handy with the sometimes spotty cell service), easy to use entertainment systems for Apple users, well stocked kitchen including coffee bar, cooking equipment, fiestaware, outdoor kitchen, etc.There is plenty of seating and areas for entertaining. The house is clean, open and cozy with an amazing view of the sunset! The hosts are responsive, thoughtful and helpful.Our group enjoyed many things about the property but my personal favorite was how comfortable our bed was. I never have this experience in rentals but I was not ready to leave that bed behind! It’s nice when you can play hard and rest well on vacation.Definitely a do again!
We had such an amazing stay at The Porch House. The lake access, fire pit, and spacious porch were very enjoyed by my family. The house is very clean, spacious, and stocked with absolutely anything you need for your stay. The host has done an amazing job with this property and ensures you will have the most wonderful time.
This house has everything you could possibly ask for and more! The inside areas were comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated, and the back deck was a perfect oasis to watch the sunrise and sunsets. There were plenty of places to sit and we never felt crowded. We spent every morning on the back deck, sipping coffee and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Want to cook a family meal? Done! There were plenty of pots & pans, dishes, glasses and coffee mugs and serving bowls and dishes. If it rains, there's a closet full of games and there are TVs inside and out. It's the perfect place to relax and make great memories.
Very quiet and beautiful place to stay. Right off the lake with many outdoor things to do at the house (fishing, grill, Cornhole, fire pit, back patio area with TV). House was furnished with all the needs you would expect, very spacious and cozy house.

Absolutely amazing! Clean, quiet, Reid was very helpful when needed, and my husband and I could have stayed there in our own little world forever. We wished we would have access to the docks was the only downfall. We will be back!

The Porch House was impeccably charming and peaceful! It came equipped with everything we needed for a great time by the lake. Every room in the house is gorgeous and we felt completely at home as soon as we arrived. Reid and Whitney were great hosts and we’re there whenever we needed them. They really go all out to make sure you have the most comfortable and memorable time! 11/10 recommend and we will definitely be back soon as this is now our favorite vacation home in all of Eastern Oklahoma!

Better than we expected. Beautiful deck, great space, very clean. The lake and the little beach was amazing. One of the best VRBOs I've ever stayed at. The hosts were very attentive. We had 5 children and they had the time of their life. They want to come back next year. You can't go wrong here. Clean, cabin was as pictured, plenty of linens, GREAT outdoor space. Highly recommend ❤️

We loved our stay at the Porch House. It’s was in a very peaceful, quiet location. There are neighbors on each side but plenty of distance between them and they stayed to themselves. The house was clean and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The porch was definitely the highlight. There is a gorgeous, clear view of the lake from the porch. There is an outdoor tv that we used to play music. The tv has all the streaming services including Apple Music. Beds were super comfortable and we slept well every night. Reid was a great host - very responsive. Hope we can make it back again one day.

This house kind of blew us away. We travel very frequently and stay in lots of air b-n-bs. This one was pristine! So clean, high quality furniture, and thoughtful inclusions in each room. The beds and linens were super comfortable and really really clean. The location to the lake was perfect and the porch with outdoor kitchen was a dream. We didn’t need anything- even the kitchen and laundry was well stocked and super convenient. We will definitely make this a routine to stay here when we are in the area!

This little Lake cottage was awesome. it was a perfect place for my family to getaway and spend the week of Labor Day. It was very clean, quiet, and so comfortable. Loved watching football on the tv on the wonderful deck, cooking Smores over the firepit, and fishing down on the little beach area. Everything was perfect and exactly as described in the write up. Reid was a wonderful host and quickly responded every time we had a question. Definitely a place we would love to visit again.

We had a fun, quiet Spring Break at the Porch House. The house is very nice and comfortable as described. The nicest one in the area. Sits right on the corner lot so easy to spot. Very spacious. The pics don’t do it justice. The backyard area and lake beach area were clean and nice, perfect for sand & outdoor play. Loved watching the deer family every morning come down and eat and wander around the property. Lots of space and plenty of games to play and movies to watch, perfect for our laid back getaway. The beds are memory foam, but very comfortable. So many linens and pillows. Love the s’more & coffee station. The porch speakers, fire pit and grilling options were amazing. Rent the golf cart and explore the area! It was the highlight of the trip for our kids. Hosts were very responsive to an issue with golf cart check out and a storm we were keeping an eye on. The area was a little secluded but it felt quiet and safe. Only saw a couple neighbors during our stay.
Amazing and beautiful from the inside to the out. Very well taken care of. They Provided lots of activities/games for you and your family to enjoy. Perfect weather to use the fire pit. There was plenty of firewood too. We will definitely be rebooking this property.
